This is about far more than perfecting a runway walk or taking a great photo. It’s preparation for the global stage and for personal and professional growth well beyond the contest. In a supportive environment, participants learn, practise and receive constructive feedback at every step, developing the confidence, versatility and presence to thrive as well-rounded, industry-ready talent.
Chapter one
Learning from the experts
The journey begins with learning from professionals who know their industries inside out. Experts from a range of disciplines equip participants with the skills and knowledge to support their personal development for success.
Alongside modelling and the business of fashion, participants explore fitness, interview skills, networking, personal branding, photography, runway, acting, authenticity and self-expression.
Together, these workshops provide a strong foundation for a career in modelling and the wider creative industries, helping participants move forward with confidence, resilience and purpose.
Chapter two
Finding your voice, defining your presence
What makes each participant unique is at the heart of their development. Sessions on self-esteem, authenticity and self-expression encourage them to speak up, share their stories and bring their individuality to every opportunity.
Participants explore the power of presence and learn how to express themselves with confidence, on camera, on stage and beyond.
Chapter three
Practise, feedback, repeat
Skills develop through practice. Participants take part in acting workshops for camera and radio, as well as photoshoots and runway sessions.
Through rehearsal, experimentation and honest, constructive feedback, they learn to adapt, build resilience and approach new challenges with focus and self-belief.
Chapter four
Confidence, connection and community
Training is a shared journey. As participants learn and grow together, they build confidence, form lasting friendships and create a supportive community.
Guidance in self-esteem, self-discipline, resilience and adaptability, alongside advice on health, wellbeing, fitness and healthy eating, helps participants develop habits that serve them both in the industry and in everyday life. The skills and connections they gain can last long after the contest ends.

Ready for the next stage
From nationwide searches to expert-led training, every stage of TCI Top Model is designed to prepare participants for what comes next. They leave with new skills, professional guidance and experience in fashion, media, presentation and life skills.
Taking part in TCI Top Model offers a structured pathway into fashion modelling and the creative industries. Participants gain visibility and opportunities to connect with a diverse range of professionals and industry leaders. These connections link local talent with opportunities further afield. It has opened doors to commercial modelling and acting, helping participants build professional portfolios and pursue work in competitive markets.
Since its launch, TCI Top Model has been a flagship platform for local talent. Alumni have appeared in professional media, commercial projects and fashion weeks at home and abroad, and some have signed with international modelling agencies. These achievements demonstrate the programme’s potential to support participants’ long-term development.
