PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands; Tuesday, 5th May, 2026 – The Grand Finale of Cycle 7 of TCI Top Model 2026 staged a spectacular showcase at Brayton Hall, Providenciales, over the weekend. Grand Turk native and professional rugby stalwart Trevor Watkins dominated the evening, sweeping four sectional titles: Industry Readiness, Model’s Portfolio, Best Body and Best Runway Walk, to be named TCI Top Model 2026. Standing 6'4", Watkins brought a commanding, magnetic presence that held both judges and the audience in thrall. His athletic discipline, island roots and assured poise translated seamlessly into high fashion, redefining expectations and blurring the lines between sport and style. Watkins’ multi-faceted talent, humility and clear sense of purpose mark him as a breakthrough figure for the contest and a powerful ambassador for Turks and Caicos.

Cycle 7 delivered four standout runway segments: Glitter (Impact Appeal), Boots on the Ground (Runway Walk), the return of the Le Bead-Aime Jewellery Swimsuit Competition (Best Body), and Turks Island Dandy (Fashion Forward), each realised with immaculate styling, cutting-edge design and uncompromising production standards. From couture detailing to dramatic choreography, every look felt intentional and trend-setting. The audience matched the show’s sophistication, arriving in show-stopping attire and responding with palpable enthusiasm, elevating the evening into a genuine celebration of fashion and culture.

“Competing in TCI Top Model has been a powerful journey of transformation and purpose,” said the newly installed Cycle 7 winner. “Moving from the rugby pitch to the runway taught me to translate discipline into poise, teamwork into presence, and resilience into creative confidence. I felt the islands behind me, my family, my coaches, and the reefs I learnt to protect, guiding every step. Winning these coveted prizes affirmed that strength and style can coexist with humility and service." Watkins went on to add: “This platform has deepened my commitment to youth empowerment, environmental stewardship, and authentic representation of Turks and Caicos. I leave inspired, determined to give back and to keep pushing boundaries always.”

Watkins’ background in athletics, maritime work with Oasis Divers and service at the Fisheries Department informs his commitment to discipline, teamwork and conservation. Skilled in vessel handling, diving and rescue, he channels creativity into music and mindful living and is a vocal advocate for youth empowerment and island-style representation.

Donnell Williams was named First Runner-Up, with Alecia Higgs taking Second Runner-Up. The evening was hosted by Super P the Entertainer, with co-commentary from Brittney Bien-Amie, a TCI Top Model alum. Stirring performances by Aaliya Delva and Corey Stubbs added momentum, while reigning Top Model 2025 Shakem Charles and First Runner-Up Hu Prospere presented the sectional awards and bestowed titles. Cycle 7 also celebrated diversity and inclusion by featuring legacy, plus-sized, and mature models.

“I am immensely proud of my team for turning vision into an unforgettable experience,” said Courtney Robinson, Founder and Executive Producer. “TCI Top Model is far more than a fashion contest or show; it is an educational laboratory where structured training, mentorship and disciplined practice unlock potential and amplify voices. Our partners and team are committed to lifelong learning and to driving meaningful change, equipping young people with the skills, confidence and professional standards to excel.”

Robinson went on to say: “Our devotion to excellence informs rigorous curricula, purposeful workshops and real-world opportunities that prepare talent for global stages. Tonight proves that through education, hard work and high expectations, our islands can cultivate world-class storytellers, leaders and creative professionals; this is only the beginning.”

The 2026 production raised the bar, delivering a bold, immersive and emotionally impactful show. A state-of-the-art LED wall dominated the Brayton Hall stage, running dynamic montages that traced the anthology of TCI Top Model’s founding vision, a rigorous training program, event partners, and the organising committee. Compelling contestant openers and finale films—rich with visuals, statistics and personal testimony—added depth and heart, inviting the audience into each model’s journey and ambition. Striking photography and behind-the-scenes footage captured defining moments, transforming participants into storytellers and rising stars. It was a masterclass in narrative and spectacle that left many asking how the team will surpass this in 2027.
